Relaxing after the holiday

We had stuffed crust pizza from Pizza Hut on Sunday evening at Loren & Margriet's. Margriet picked out the cupboard color and style she wanted. Grant was having fun sitting on it.

Grandmother's Birthday

Grandma laughs at something said.

Good save, Margriet! Grandma almost burned her hand on the flame. You can see Margriet's hand as it swooped in to push Grandma's hand out of the way. (the flame did go out when this happened)

Lowell & Sheena & Grant, Loren & Margriet, Dad & Mom, and Wes & I had cupcakes, pie, & popcorn to celebrate Grandma's birthday(i forget the #). Pie courtesy of Mom, cupcakes courtesy of Sheena, and popcorn courtesy of the nursing home. This also happened to be our(Wes & me) supper because we had been working on the house right before this! Thanks everyone for the food! - HA

Bedroom

Wes tapes up the door to the bedroom before he spray paints the primer and paints the ceiling white.

All the furniture shoved together to make room for the bedroom furniture.

So, I was SO excited the carpet installers were coming today to put in the carpet. About 11:20 AM, I get a call from Vander Berg Furniture saying a job they were doing was scheduled for 1 day but took 4 DAYS! So no carpet today.......(sigh). Have to wait til Tuesday. I'm still excited though, just anxious for Tuesday to get here ASAP!!! Oh and I was going to put finished bathroom pics on, but decided to wait til I had updated rugs & stuff!

I had to dig through my picture archives to find one that still showed the shower door.

This is where all the bathroom stuff went.

The green sponge paint....no more!

No more shower door! Also you can see what Wes is facing, it used to be a window and a previous owner added the shower & left gaping hollow shelves around the shower.

 I need to take finished photos! The walls are white/purple with seashell border. Alas, that will have to wait until my camera battery is charge.
