Work

I am starting my third week back at work. I found out how much vacation was donated to me while I was out, and I am amazed! Makes me thankful for a good job and awesome coworkers. 

My first day back to work I got a special delivery! That was a good surprise!  They are still hanging in there this week though not quite as pretty as when they came. These pictures are after they opened a bit. 

 

I also had a chocolate bar and clean desk(no dust bunnies!!)! Thanks, Pam!

Christmas weekend 2013

Olivia's first road trip was to her Aunt Loria and Uncle Mike's house. She also got to meet her cousin Justin and Aunt Lynae. Below, Justin and Wes head to a tool store with Grandpa. 

We women (cept for Olivia, she stayed back with Dad) went to the Princess Di exhibit in the Putnam museum. Grandpa went along and he wasn't the only man there!

Firsts

First long road trip. We went out to my sister and her family's house Christmas weekend. Good time to go when she slept all the time! One stop midway to feed, and we were set the rest of the trip. No potty breaks!

Before we left, Grandpa Scott and Grandma Irene gave Olivia this "sleeping" lamb for Christmas. It plays mom's heartbeat, whale, rain, and ocean sounds. She loved it, and so did Mom and Dad!! Ha

First restaurant outing was also first family grocery trip. Guess the restaurant for bragging rights. 

First time seeing her car seat monkey, and staring, and staring, and staring...until she fell asleep.

There's a reason moms keep Everything. Wes could be a traffic cop with this hat. No one would run him over! Update: or a homing beacon from space! 

When Wes goes grocery shopping for the first time in 5 years, we get Eggo waffles and hot chocolate!
